About

Founded along the Southern California coast, Valor Monuments exists at the intersection of timeless artistry, enduring patriotism, and world-class monumental design. Known for creating legacy-driven public art and sculptural works of lasting significance, Valor Monuments has become a respected studio sought after for meaningful commissions that honor courage, sacrifice, leadership, and the enduring ideals that shape communities and generations.

At the heart of Valor Monuments is acclaimed artist and designer Jake Janz, whose monumental works are recognized for their realism, emotional depth, and architectural presence. A graduate of the prestigious Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, Jake brings more than 25 years of experience in fine art, sculpting, design, and creative direction—combining classical artistic training with a refined contemporary perspective.

Known for his understanding of the human figure and his ability to capture authentic emotion through bronze, stainless steel, and mixed media, Jake’s sculptures are designed to create meaningful connection. His work transforms spaces into places of reflection, remembrance, and inspiration—creating monuments that honor both the subject and the viewer.

Under Jake’s artistic leadership, Valor Monuments collaborates with municipalities, foundations, developers, private collectors, and civic organizations to create museum-quality monuments and large-scale sculptural installations of enduring value. Every project is approached with careful craftsmanship, architectural sensitivity, and deep respect for the stories being told.

Jake’s artistic process reflects decades of refinement, balancing creativity, technical precision, and thoughtful execution. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside city art commissions, engineers, architects, foundries, and private patrons to ensure each project is completed with excellence and integrity.

What distinguishes Valor Monuments is a commitment to permanence, meaning, and timeless beauty. Each work is created to enhance its surroundings while carrying lasting emotional and cultural significance. Beyond their artistic merit, these sculptures become enduring landmarks—bringing depth, distinction, and inspiration to the communities they serve.
